The Session’s Court of Surat has found Asaram Bapu’s son Narayan Sai guilty of rape on Friday. Moreover, the Court also found the helpers of N. Sai Ganga, Jamuna and Hanuman guilty by the court,
The self-styled godman Asaram Bapu and his son Narayan Sai have been accused of committing rape of two sisters when they were lived at the ashram. They alleged that the elder sister was raped by Asaram and His son Narayan was raped the younger sister.
The victims had also alleged that Asaram and Sai had raped them multiple times. Sai was arrested from Kurukshetra, Haryana in December 2013 after the two sisters had lodged complaints against them.
Asaram Bapu is already convicted by the Jodhpur court under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act. and currently serving jail-term.
The Court will pronounce the quantum of punishment to Narayan Sai on April 30
