It’s a leading Private Un-Aided college based in Murshidabad. The college is popularly known as, MABIJS among the students. This institute offers a wide array of academic courses and programs that are approved by BCI. The college, affiliated to the University of Kalyani. For the past 12 years the Institute is empowering the society with its multi fold activities in realm of legal fraternity. ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE PARTNER
Law Corner (www.lawcorner.in) is a legal web portal, which aims to provide an online platform of law learning to the students, professionals and legal practitioners in order to boost their knowledge. It also provides internship program to young law students. Law Corner has started its journey in the year of 2018 with the objective of proving a wide range of features including legal articles, case laws, career advice, etc.
Apart from this Law Corner also organize various online and offline legal events including Article writing competition, case comment writing competition, e-memorandum writing competition, legal quiz competition, etc. Presently Law Corner has 11k followers on Facebook and more than 95k unique page view every month.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
In an effort of improving the creation and dissemination of research evidence, MAB INSTITUTE OF JURIDICAL SCIENCE is organizing 2nd MABIJS International Essay Competition 2020 to advocate the views of intellects on varied aspects of day-to-day life. While pursuing our goals, we commit to partnering with most public so as to ensure their best interests are served.
The objective of this competition is to encourage law students across various states in India, through a quality competition, to develop original and creative thinking on some of the important contemporary social issues.
THEME
Submissions that deal with any aspect of Legal, Social & Economic Issues will be considered.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Any student pursuing an undergraduate, postgraduate or professional course in any recognized University/College/Institution are eligible to participate in the Competition.
IMPORTANT DATES
Last date of registration 23rd February 2020
The essays must be submitted on or before 3rd March 2020
Publication of Result – 10th March 2020
Dispatch of Prizes & certificates – 17th March 2020
