About MNLU
Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. The Act envisaged establishing National Law University in Maharashtra to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies for the advancement of societal life of the people in the country.
About the Programme
MNLU is set to host India’s first-ever post-graduate degree in Mediation and Conflict Resolution, which will be accessible to law graduates as well as graduates from other disciplines. Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai, has announced a two-year MA program beginning September 2020. Admissions have already begun, with the application deadline scheduled for July 31.
The course module provides participants a holistic education of mediation, beyond the subject of law. With focus on psychology, sociology, law, religion, diplomacy, philosophy, international relations, cognitive sciences, artificial intelligence and restorative justice – any professional pursuing the course will surely experience an all-round perspective and understanding of disputes in the modern world.
The course would benefit any professional in equipping herself or himself with the required knowledge and expertise in dealing with personal, professional or business disputes. From managing contractual disputes to handling workplace quarrels, from negotiating personal deals to striking business agreements, the course is set to develop brilliant leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills in every participant.
Duration
The programme will be for a period of two academic years. The academic year will run from September 2020 to September 2021.

A graduate from any discipline can apply for the program.
Total Number of Seats
The total number of seats is 40.
Fees Details
The fees for the full two-year program is Rs. 2,50,000.
The fees is inclusive of the tuition fees, library fees, admission fees, mediation accreditation fees, and graduation fees. The course fees may be paid in two instalments at the beginning of each academic year.
